Supplying a Traditional Print By US Mail:
A quality photo is essential. It should be clear and reasonably sharp. The size should be at least 3 x 5 inches. A color photo must be supplied if your painting is going to be in color. Either color or black and white prints can be used if your painting is going to be black and white.

For house portraits, photos taken from a slight angle generally work best as they add interest and depth to the composition. It is also best to take the photo on a sunny day. You may include more than one photo to show detail but be sure to indicate which photo you want the painting rendered from.

Supplying A Photo By E-mail:
The same general guidelines should be followed as traditional print described above. If you are e-mailing your image as an attachment please note the quality of the image is important. An image of approximately 5 inches by 7 inches when displayed on your monitor is best. Send the image to info@arthomeporttraits.com.
